After a decade’s worth of experience garnered working in the education sector, Zareef Tamanna Matin decided to set up ZTM Consultancy. As the initiator of the global professional qualification on Management Accounting, CIMA in Bangladesh, Zareef had an uphill climb of taking it from a relatively unknown foreign certification, to becoming a leading brand name within Bangladesh. She spent a decade building a reliable network of educational institutions and key persons related to such a professional certificate. Along the way, she sharpened her people management skills as well the ability to understand the gaps in the educational sector that lead to a shortage of good people in the job market. Zareef hopes to contribute towards filling this gap through her network of resources that can help people find suitable jobs or opportunities to study abroad, enhancing their personal skills. Developing human capital was always a passion whether it involves connecting candidates with potential employers or students to universities for higher studies and professional trainings. With a BSC in Environmental Sciences and a Masters in Development Studies, Zareef has a diversified portfolio, allowing her to connect the dots of her unique career, when it comes to using her pool of resources for ZTM.
